Welcome to LL Gun Dogs! We appreciate your interest in purchasing a puppy from us. But first, let us tell you a little bit about our kennel and services we offer.
Our kennel is located in the small town of Crockett, Texas. We are surrounded by the Davy Crockett National Forest and many wonderful places to harvest large whitetail deer and migratory game. We are avid outdoorsman and devote many hours to our dogs so they can be successful in the field and in hunt tests throughout the year. Each of our sires and dams are carefully selected to enhance our breeding program and produce successful offspring. Our goal is to produce some of the best gun dogs in our area. Our gun dogs begin their career as retrievers in training at the age of 6 months. Once they are steady to shot, they begin running hunt tests to start achieving retriever titles. In 2013, we welcomed our first dog Slim the GSP, to the LL Gun Dogs family. He excelled through training and became a phenomenal retriever with the help of Randy McBrayer at Little River Retrievers in Weches, Texas. Slim sparked our interest in becoming involved in hunt tests and starting our breeding program and is commonly know as the "Speckled Retriever". We have since added newer dogs to our kennel that will produce exceptional offspring. Our sires and dams are extensively health tested through OFA and DDC genetics. Our Labradors are OFA/OFEL, EIC, CNM, PRA, and DILUTE tested. Our GSP's are DM and Von Willebrands Disease Type II tested. All puppies produced by our sires/dams or outside litters sired by our studs, will be clear of these genetic diseases and will never produce an affected puppy. We believe that there are only three recognized colors of Labradors; black, yellow, & chocolate. Silver, champagne, and charcoal, are NOT within breed standard. We will NOT knowingly place a puppy in a home that breeds or owns a dilute. Please understand that we are very particular of where our puppies go and we hope that you can respect our wishes. Every puppy goes home with a Bill of Sale and Health Guarantee Contract signed by us and buyer. We offer a 26 month genetic health guarantee to ensure that your monetary investment is protected. Our puppies do not leave or property until they have had their first set of core vaccinations. Our deworming protocol starts at 2 weeks of age and each week until they go home. Our health guarantee does NOT cover intestinal parasites. However, a 5 day general health guarantee is offered after leaving our premises. Each pup will also leave with an application for AKC registration and a puppy starter pack. Each pup must be seen by the buyers veterinarian within 5 days after leaving for the guarantee to be valid. We DO offer shipping via American Airlines and Delifurry ground transport at the buyers expense. As of 2018 LL Gun Dogs, LLC is an AKC inspected kennel and meets requirements/standards for breeding responsibly. We are also AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. |
